Booking steps for NSmen

  1. Go to ns.gov.sg (the OneNS portal) and log in with Singpass.
  2. Open Manage IPPT / NS FIT in the IPPT/NS FIT eService.
  3. Choose your session type (IPPT attempt or NS FIT session), a Fitness Conditioning Centre, and a date and time.
  4. Confirm the booking and keep the transaction code / confirmation — screenshot it. You may need it for work leave or make-up pay claims.
  5. Turn up at least 15 minutes early with your NRIC or 11B and proper PT attire.

The booking rules that matter

RuleDetail
How far aheadBookings open up to 3 months in advance. Slots near the end of popular windows fill fast — book when your window opens, not when it is about to close.
Morning / afternoon sessionsBooking and amendment close at 0000 hrs (midnight) before the session.
Evening sessionsBooking and amendment close at 1200 hrs (noon) on the day of the session.
CancellingCancel or amend in OneNS before the same cut-offs. A no-show without cancelling can count against you — always cancel properly.
Age 35+ (NSmen)Complete your annual SAF HSP first — you may book before clearing it, but you cannot take the test unless HSP (Low Cardiac Risk) is done by the test date. HSP is arranged through your unit, not the OneNS booking screen.
Walk-insNot allowed. No booking, no entry at any FCC.

Where you can take IPPT

NSmen take IPPT and NS FIT at four Fitness Conditioning Centres: Bedok, Khatib, Kranji and CMPB. During ICT, your unit may run IPPT in-camp — no separate booking needed; check your unit's ICT programme. Sessions run about 1.5 hours including in-processing and the safety briefing.

Pre-enlistees: a different slot pattern

Pre-enlistee IPPT is held at CMPB FCC on Wednesdays (except public holidays), booked via OneNS — your slot must be booked by Tuesday 12:00 noon the day before. You can attempt as many times as you like, but you can only hold one active booking at a time, and your final attempt must be at least 14 calendar days before your PTP enlistment date. If your school (JC, MI, Polytechnic or ITE) runs the modified NAPFA test, those results go to CMPB automatically — book an FCC attempt only if you want to improve on them. See the Pre-Enlistee IPPT Guide.

Before test day

Know your target before you book your final attempt: run your current numbers through the IPPT Calculator and the Target Planner, then read what to bring and what to wear so you are not turned away at the gate.
